Decent Homes Standard Review: Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government



In view of our extensive involvement over many years, we were pleased to be invited to contribute to the Review through an online meeting with officers from the Ministry’s Social Housing Division on 7th June 2021, including providing a written submission dealing with:

  • The need for a Decent Homes Standard

  • The centrality of ‘health’

  • Revisions to the DHS

  • The use of research and Intelligence

  • The scope of the DHS

  • The social and economic value of improving homes to Decent Homes Standard
