Changing Public Expenditure on Housing Renewal

The Partnership is delighted to announce a collaborative project with the Centre for Ageing Better to assess the extent and impact of the reduction in public expenditure on housing renewal since 2010. Taking a comparative baseline of the decade following 2000, a range of data sources will track expenditure nationally and by local authorities with a special emphasis on Disabled Facilities Grant expenditure. Attention will also be given to expenditure b housing associations and the private sector.

The report will address:

• the overall pattern of changing expenditure on housing renewal;

• the impact of reduced investment on output and for home owners and tenants.
